This year Accountancy Age Magazine hosted the 13th annual Awards for Excellence to celebrate success and achievement across the entire financial industry, from accountants in business, to practice and public sector. In this, their 38th year of publishing, the awards were arguably more competitive and prestigious than ever before.

We were therefore delighted to win in the category for Medium Sized Firm of the Year 2007, in a year that marks our 50th anniversary and the start of the firm's presidency of the Intercontinental Grouping of Accountants and Lawyers (IGAL).

The awards were presented on the 14th November 2007 at Battersea Park Arena, Battersea, in front of 1,300 guests, including key figures throughout the practice and business community amongst them, senior partners and financial directors from some of the largest companies in the UK.

The judges said of our entry "There was clearly evidence of a client focus and they demonstrated some real innovation, knew where there strengths lay and played to them superbly."
